Advanced Moisture Control, Low Purge Loss & Peak Reliability
AirGen’s internally heated desiccant dryers deliver ultra-dry compressed air with exceptional energy efficiency and minimal purge air loss—ideal for demanding industrial applications that require stable dew point performance.
Why Go Internal?
Superior Energy Efficiency & Reduced Purge Loss
Embedded electric heaters within the desiccant bed heat only the necessary volume, reducing purge requirement to around 2 % of flow—far lower than traditional heatless or externally heated models. This translates to major energy savings and more compressed air sent to your process.
Consistently Low Dew Points
Able to produce dew points as low as –40 °C to –80 °C using silica gel or layered desiccant configurations—perfect for applications where moisture must be strictly controlled.
Excellent Heat Transfer
Internally mounted Cal‑Rod or center‑pipe heaters ensure uniform regeneration and avoid temperature drop-offs common in external heater designs.
HOW IT WORK
Drying Tower remains online, delivering ultra‑dry compressed air while the offline tower regenerates.
Heaters embedded within desiccant bed elevate temperature (often around 180 °C) to drive off moisture using minimal purge air.
After heating, the bed is cooled and pressure‑equalized before switching to online service—ensuring smooth transitions and stable air output.
